Active converter - easy to use
Unlike many cheaper products, this is an active converter which means (depending on your motherboard/graphics card) you can use your PC's full display capabilities - so having 3 separate displays on a Dell Optiplex 7010 with VGA and 2x DP outputs. Using passive converters would limit the number of displays. The product is easy to use and doesn't require any special drivers to be installed.
