Spirit of Songs
Not being any kind of specialist in dylanology, i became positively surprised, because the sounds and voice are acoustic and natural, without the fury which i've associated with Dylan. The reason i bought this cd is that i had seen there is his version of "Stack O'Lee" (Hutchincon's version), as that song is familiar to me from Mississippi John Hurt. In general, i'm interested in different versions of the same, i mean of (nearly) any, song (i don't want to repeat any piece of music the same way not twice in my performances...). i'm satisfied with this, no reason to blame anything. According to my principles, i cannot compare this with other albums by Dylan nor by someody else, because these products are like their autours, unique.
