Attractive and functional
A lifesaver that looks good on the ceiling and does not activate as often as others when cooking. Although a ten year battery, mine expires in six so obviously older stock, for the price I figure six years is ok though.

Hot stuff
This is a very attractive kettle that works well but be warned, the handle gets as hot as the water. I had a friend cover the handle with craft rope which done the trick.
