How do you hang it?

I had bought this to hang from my mirror in the car and was after a splash of colour and something different. I got the splash of colour and I got something different! However, the string cannot go around the mirror and I am struggling on how to hang it without completely removing my mirror! I've instead, looped it around my dashcam wire. Also, £10 is quite a bit lazer cut MDF but it does look different. The red stringy bit was a little flat looking. Delivery was on time thought and did recieve a gift which was nice. Not a well thought out design.
