Solid computer
Good speed, tough, sturdy little machine. Built like a brick, so not light at all, but will last quite a while, which is exactly what I wanted.

excellent volume, well worth it
Super happy with this volume of the histories of middle earth! this continues the development of the story that would eventually be published as the lord of the rings, continuing from the tomb of balin in moria, through much of what would become the two towers. the evolution of saruman as the traitor istari, the role of treebeard, and what actually kept gandalf away from meeting with frodo on the appointed date all crystalized, and it is fascinating to witness the constant character evolutions of whom would eventually be aragorn, son of arathorn.
