the most offbeat installment in the "Karla Trilogy", but a vital one to experience.
Excellent audio presentation of the original novel by Michael Jayston, who played Peter Guillam in "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy".

"Dangerous waters, but worth the risk"
I enjoyed the 1993 theatrical version of the novel so I wanted to see how this television adaptation handled the material. It is superb. The lead actors are excellent, the production and costume design are first-rate, and the camerawork and music are moody and enveloping.
