One Man's Hero :
What a terrific tribute to the San Patricios during the war with Mexico! Recommended by an Irish/Catholic friend of mine (who is also a history buff), this was a must see. It was a good story of the struggle of a band of early Irish Catholics, who fought for the U.S. but were chastised by their (non-Catholic) superiors for their devotion to their faith. They knew morally that when it comes down deciding on what is most important for one's soul, your faith is what you depend on, and worth risking their lives for. Viva La San Patricios!

Power, Faith and Fantasy
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich I bought this book because a co worker was reading it. This book is written from a strict Zionist point of view, about much of the "history" of the Middle East. Keep this in mind as you read through it, and you will see the author's obvious bias. There is a glaring ommission of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty on June 6th, 1967, which is not only a very key part of Middle East History, but a blatant dishonor to the 34 lives and the 174 wounded. One cannot have an honest discussion about the modern day Middle East and and the state of Israel, without discussing and acknowledging the betrayal and cover up of the truth of what happened that day. I would say that this book overall emphasizes on the latter part of the title, "Fantasy." Read it with that context in mind, and you might have an enjoyable read.

Highly recommend around delicate objects!
I have many delicate statues and other items that collect desert dust like little magnets, With this duster I can get to all of them, safely clean them without worrying about knocking anything over or breaking replaceables. So recommend, I have two of these dusters, they well worthy!
