Makes the GoPro useful for other tasks...

I bought this 'cage' to give me more options for using my GoPro...(Hero5)...as at times I want to add some LED lights to the camera...or to have a more 'standard' tripod mounting. This does both of those...in fact there are two 1/4-20 threaded holes on the mount...bottom and side for either landscape or portrait mode. In addition the 52mm mounting ring can allow a wide range of filters, sunshades, etc. Since I have several 62mm filters, I bought a 'step-up' adapter...52-62, so all of the polarizers, etc. in my bag can serve double duty.

This is long out of production, but....

I first started using these Combo Paks of screwdrivers and the companion Pak of nutdrivers, many years ago. I found them a very convenient way to carry a wide variety of commonly used tools in a tool box. I guess they were not big sellers as they have not been available new for quite some time. Nevertheless, this set was in perfect condition and I was pleased to find it on eBay...

It does the job...

Outdoor activities with any LCD are always a problem. This hood gives a good amount of shade on three sides. Putting it on and taking it off is quick and easy and it takes almost no room when stored in the GoPro-Karma case.
