Great replacement for less than OEM prices
Purchased this to replace the top seal on my 2002 Wrangler. At first glance, this was different than the seal that was on my wrangler to begin with. The part that slips over the pinch weld was flat with the seal instead of facing up like my OEM seal. However, I realized that it did not affect installation as you just end up flipping that portion upwards during install. It was certainly a bit beefier up front than my old seal as well. The double sided tape that was applied seemed solid. I read reviews on other non-oem parts that the double sided tape would come off. I didn't have those issues with this one. Removing the old seal was the worst part of the install as the old tape took forever to clean. I ran some silicone grease over the top of this after install was done and happy to say I have a leak free Jeep now. My only complaint would be that since this is folded during shipment, the stiff portion of the seal that locks onto the pinch weld was bent or broken in a few spots. Ultimately, it did not affect installation, but it was concerning upon arrival.
