This lens will be an excellent choice as a portrait lens and a lens for walking. Plastic picture, very beautiful color reproduction, good contrast and sharpness. The construct and assembly are very reliable. No backlash. Metal frame. Smooth running of the rings. With all this, the Olympus OM 100 mm is small and compact.

Chromatic aberration at the edges of the frame. The lens gives good sharpness at F8, but the sharpness at the edges of the frame is weak for shooting architecture. There is barrel distortion throughout the focal range, the severity of the effect is reduced with the growth of focal.But given the price of the lens and its advantages, you can close your eyes to all the shortcomings.
