Great radio with BT handsfree and Android Auto
Awesome radio!
It's a little hard to find information about this radio, but after some googling I decided to give it a try and I don't regret it.
Bluetooth handsfree works really well and sound quality when calling is great (people couldn't tell I was not using my phone directly).
Overall sound quality is great. You can choose different sources for media playback (BT, memory card, AUX, I think also USB, but I didn't try yet).
The interface is usable and simple enough.
I knew that the FM radio doesn't have RDS, but my radio does show names of some stations (for some stations it doesn't work even when the signal is strong). This could use some improvements.
Android Auto works well - awesome feature!
I don't have a rear camera yet, and right now the radio just shows an error every time I go into reverse gear (I knew that before). I found no settings for that, but after some googling I think this might be tweakable with VCDS or similar tools.
As I said it's a little hard to find coherent information about this radio, especially since there seem to be multiple hardware and software variations, but overall it's a great product and I'm excited to have it in my car.
