Made me wonder how much was imagined.
I have a problem with modern writers inserting themselves into someone's life who was a real person. The book, although interesting, made me wonder how much of it was imagined. I'm sure Hedy Lamarr was much documented, and I loved the part where she was inspired to do her research. So, do I recommend it? I'd give it a B.

Bring the old Samsara back!
I used to wear Samsara in the early '90s, but this does not smell like the same thing at all. That one was sandalwood, this is more of a cloying, powdery smell. Guerlain must have changed the formulation, because this is a completely different perfume. It may be a good value for someone else, but I dislike it.

Very pretty touch of green!
It is what I expected--a lightcatcher--that is painted or tinted, not art glass and copper-foiled. I have dropped it and it remained intact, and I thought of using it for a coaster but it was just too pretty not to hang! I bought it to commemorate my grandson's 2nd birthday--he was born on St. Patrick's Day. And oddly enough, I am now sheltering in place where he lives, so maybe it will bring me luck!
