Excellent history of miniature collecting in Miniature Collector magazine.
The artisans who created fine art miniatures and the miniatures they created are covered very well. Notes about miniature events can be researched as well as original values of many miniature items. Provenance of notable miniature pieces is often given including who made an item, auction or sale prices and frequently which collectors bought the pieces.
