Easy to ALWAYS carry in wallet
Very good purchase. Many china usb devices are not bootable e.g. with Linux installed. This one is perfectly bootable. I am using the credit card size usb drive with Porteus Linux. It is always in my wallet, ready to help a friend with computer problems, or booting my "own" system on the go, where computers otherwise could be compromised. Highly recommended, did I say it was perfectly bootable? PERFECT, and thanks!

Sharp, contrasty, nice colors, light weight
Vivitar zoom 28-50 is the perfect travel and walkaround friend. I saw the serial nr begins with 28, which indicates the lens is constructed by Komine, a well known lens maker. This ensures quality pictures. The zoom is perfect for most uses, and complemented with a 135mm prime and a close up filter most photo situations are covered. When studying the actual pics taken with this zoom you cant tell what lens is used. Pics are sharp, contrasty and have nice colors. It is recommended you have a hood, 58mm. Highly recommended zoom lens.

Nikomat last forever, high quality metal camera
I am a film photographer, and I like old manual fully mechanical cameras. Nikomat FTn is such a camera. These old cameras are very sturdy made and will last for years. They are made of metal, not fragile plastic Components, therefore they are also repairable. You are not dependable of batteries either, a battery for the light meter is sufficient. I use hearing aid battery, it Works as it should. The light meter is very good, poorly exposed Pictures are rare. The Nikomat is a Heavy camera, but steady in Your hands when snapping! Compared to other cameras the Nikomat is of high quality, both in build terms and features. You have Mirror lockup (MLU) and can use all of the fine old Nikkor lenses. The result is Sharp Pictures, often for a fraction of what newer Nikon gear COSTs. A highly recommended camera, I already have several Nikomats, all are working like a charm.
