"Phantasm Exhumed" is an excellent deep dive into the film series!
"Phantasm Exhumed" is an exhaustive deep dive into the Phantasm film series that focuses on the experiences of the creators and artists as they brought a dream (or nightmare?) to the big screen, and continued the story across five films. Students of the filmmaking process will be interested in the not-so-glamorous nitty gritty of independent filmmaking, and heartened each time the team was able to take hardship in stride and persevere. Phans will be delighted by trivia, conversations with the crew, and pictures of behind-the-scenes moments and artifacts shared by those who helped bring this series to life. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys "Phantasm!"

"Gates of Hell" Trilogy CD Set - Spooky Excellence from Frizzi and Rizzati!
This CD set contains soundtracks for the three films in Lucio Fulci's "Gates of Hell" trilogy - "City of the Living Dead," "The Beyond," and "The House By the Cemetery." The music is fantastically atmospheric, and the disc and package design is beautiful. The booklet contains Antonella Fulci's thoughtful notes on the relationship between the music and the films, as well as historical contextualization of the Prog Rock scene at the time, and plenty of full-color photos from each movie. I would definitely recommend this product for collectors of film soundtracks, lovers of Italian horror cinema, or anyone who enjoys the music of Fabio Frizzi.

Two-disc 40th Anniversary Edition Rocks!
This is a fantastic soundtrack by renowned prog rock band Goblin. Romero's classic zombie film "Dawn of the Dead" is made even better by this score, which is by turns dark and pounding, industrial and catchy, and light and farcical. This two-disc 40th anniversary edition is not widely available, so I feel this is a very fair price for a brand-new CD!
