3-month review - not safe!
Do not buy this if you bench over 210. The bench Frame is made of solid steel & is heavy. However the actual bench is a thinner plywood backing with only a rubber stopper point support at the head & hinge support at the base. From the start it was cracking and required both feet on the ground at all times. Today benching only 275 it cracked in half near the middle. Luckily the vinyl wrapping kept it intact enough to allow me to rack it. If the vinyl didn’t hold it it could have been deadly with that much weight over my neck/chest. Too expensive/big for a light lifter too dangerous for a heavy lifter. They shouldn’t be selling this or it needs a max weight limit.
