The break out album
This album got them into US mainstream and increased popularity. A real classic rock cd. A nice mixture of music dynamics and themes. A time when rock (or music in general) had structure and melody and not all over the place. Most Scorpions music is excellent.

Well done.
It would seem that the quality and consistency of Tim McGraw's music does not fade with time. It is a nice mixture of new and old country melodies. This is risky but I am sure that his fans are used to his musical creativity. In this album, that venture is done well. There have been some in past albums that I did not care for but this album is chock full of hits. I enjoy the diversity of musical styles. He does not lose the distinctive country theme as some other artists have done. This collect makes for great travel music. Start it up in the car and off you go. Emotionally chords struck with each song are both reflective and up beat. I can see a few making there presence in a few dancehalls. The extra songs on this album are not after thought filler but belong as if the are with the headliner songs. A greatest hits collection in the making. A tip of my hat to you Tim. Well done!

An interesting look at a unique man.
It is obvious why it won a Pulitzer Prize. Even in abridgement, there is enough material given to get a great story out of it. There are moments of a pause where you wonder if this is the part of the written work that is being skipped. The material makes up for these only honest possible slights in the presentation. The audio is clear and the presenter has nice range and vocal emphasis/inflection. An interesting look back to a unique and "vigorous" individual in our history as Americans. It is no wonder he is remembered being as foundational to this country as the founding fathers of this nation were and are known to be.
