Un-formattable Discs
I've bought this brand and cartridge type before and they have always worked great, but this last batch is crap. After trying to format the first three discs on all of my different Panasonic machines, they all said that this disk needs formatting, which is usually a good sign, but then when I tried to do that after a few seconds in the format mode they popped up as unable to format, and the protect disc ion shows that the disc is now locked. I have had no trouble formatting other brands and types before with no problems doing so. I just got another new Panasonic recorder and tried one of the last two, which were still wrapped, and it did the same thing on that machine as well. I don't think that I will be buying anymore of this brand and type of discs in the future. Hopefully Maxell will stand behind their product guarantee. Or E-bay will?
