Affordable Yarn
Red Heart is an affordable option for anyone who uses yarn for their craft. Some of it can be "scratchy", but there are many how-to instructions for softening it and it gets softer with each wash/dry.

Wacky Legs
I needed a desk that was wide enough to hold a 15.6" laptop and a paper notebook, and had adjustable height. This one fit that bill. The desk can also tilt down or up, which is helpful. The one thing I don't like is that the bottom part of the table legs are loosey-goosey. Every time I have to move the desk, the table legs either turn in or out, and the desk starts to collapse. We've tightened the legs, but it doesn't help. They will just loosen up again.
