Power Brake Booster For GMC 1.5 / 2 Ton Truck Hydrovac 1947-1955

Good unit with metric tapping.

The good: Correct size with tappings in the right configuration. The bad: Brake line tapping(s) are METRIC. Had to drill out metric threads and re- tap for 1/4'' NPT brake lines. Listen, the unit is supposed to replace the Hydrovac on a 1956 Chevrolet 6500 truck. What possible justification could there be for METRIC threads All that said, it's a good unit for the price.

Looks very much like the original cylinders. I hope they last 68 years like the original ones
