Great mattress, not sure about the air valve.
Great size and perfect thickness for the place in which it will be used (on a boat). Will have to see about it's longevity and whether the seal holds air properly (just started using it).
The only real issue I have with this item is the air opening. It can only be inflated using the supplied electric pump which is unique to only this air mattress. Difficult to install it into the opening and air is released as soon as you turn the pump off. It seems you need to run the pump while removing it to prevent any air loss. Concerned the pumps installation will easily cause damage to the opening.
