In the Rut
If you like John Rutter's works you will like this two disc compendium.
My personal preference is for his Cambridge Singers performances of his works, else the choirs he conducts on YouTube. Nevertheless this Compendium is worth a place in your collection as it is in mine . There are 20 Carols and 20 other both secular and non-secular : take your choice and enjoy.

Peter and His Friends
This is a very witty, touching, play well written, well acted and well directed : a gem. The concept of a reunion of university/actor friends was an appealing subject and the quality actors and writers involved made viewing compelling. The twist at the end came as a surprise to me but left the impression of the same stunned compassion as the actors portrayed in the final scenes. Initially I thought it so English that it could only have been written and made in England so it is humbling to see that an American played a part in both the writing and the acting. I wanted to share the play with an ex-actress friend who likewise is invited to similar reunions.

Rings the Bell
Bought to operate my Doorbell (4 for same use when first expires). Hoping that each lasts for a very long time. That which it replaced, same brand, and supplied with the Doorbell, expired all too soon.
