A wonderful way to connect your laptop to multiple monitors and other peripherals
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is just great! I've been using a ThinkPad MiniDock Plus Series 3 docking station for years with my ThinkPad W520, and suddenly it stopped charging my laptop. It would still connect, and peripherals still worked, but it wouldn't carry current to the laptop so the battery would drain. This replacement fixed that perfectly, and was very reasonably priced.
Note that my laptop takes more than 90W to run it, but since I already had the 170W power adapter from my malfunctioning docking station, I was able to use that with this docking station and it works perfectly since it had the same voltage/amps and the same power connector. This saved me even more money because I didn't need the adapter that came with it, just the docking station, and the 170W power adapters are more expensive.
