Energy saving lcd display hot water cylinder dual thermostat
Prior to fitting, my previous dual stat (oil type) one was letting the hot water tank cylinder practically boil. Only noticed when at back of the house doing some painting, hot water was coming out the over flow from the tundish PRV.
Wiring was quite straight forward as per diagram.Remember you will need 5 core cable if changing from old 3 core ,like myself. Pay a sparky if you aren't clued up how to fit.
Water now set at 50 celcius with once a week ,one hour hotter boost for legionaries disease .So now my oil boiler goes off after about 20 minutes instead of cycling off and on for the duration of the programmed time, controlled by Hive, which i also recommend.Obviously as hot water is used it will come back on but as soon as it hits the preset temperature it closes the zone valve and the boiler switches off.
A brilliant concept and will undoubtably save money as it does what it says Energy Saver. I have no connection to this company, this is purely my opinion.

Good value and fit for purpose.
Fitted to Zafira 2014 C MK3 2.0 CDTI SRI . Easy straight fit , different backing plates so i kept the originals in case they squealed.No problems all working great. Local Vauxhall garage wanted £169 to fit front pads. If you don't know what you are doing get a mechanic to fit.
