Diva check
1 von 2 finden das hilfreich Several friends from church gather at my house, and we're going through this book together. It makes a great small-group bible study. I've never wanted to be a "diva", but I'm amused by McKinney-Hammond's way of writing, and her ideas help me dig deep for what's really going on in my life, and what might need to change in order to follow Jesus more closely and to have something to offer others in their Christian walk.

Too Close...
Read the whole book. I'm older, in a serious relationship many years post-divorce, and have teenagers still at home. This book seems more geared to a younger generation, and could be helpful if the guidelines were followed. My boyfriend and I decided we weren't about to start "logging" our hours of together time, but I was interested to learn how guys view relationships vs. the way gals see them. The emotional/physical differences were interesting to me. The book was recommended by some friends at church, and apparently it helped them in their courtship.

Sleep!
I had similar earplugs once upon a time, and was delighted to find these. IWork nights and sleep days, and these help a great deal!
