Head bolt set
Required for proper reassembly of Honda motors of all aluminum construction. Local parts stores didn't have a listing. Checked eBay, it was right there. Oh! The local parts place also wanted $20 per bolt for the two correct ones they could get. The set of 10 were $38!

Most common 2 stroke motor problem
Purge ball won't fill, hard/no start, won't rev, won't idle, only runs@ full throttle are often carb problems. At $10- it's wise to have a new carb to swap in. It may be the end of your problems and is certainly an economical diagnosis. Plugged carbs are not worth fixing

$6- Beats $200 all day!
Repair an alternator for $6-? From repaired alternator in my hands, to installed in a Lexus LS400, and keystart ready=10 minutes! I'd say this repair route is well worth my time. Granted, not my first-ever alternator R&R
