great value

This amp is a true great amp for tone. And value as well. It does the mesa boogie thing to a t ... Also gets great marshall crunch sound for more rock and roll (ala ac/dc) type tones. Great fender (ACTUALLY BETTER) clean sound. It is quirky though and seems like a little unstable. I get a little noise/ feedback until power amp tubes heat up. Once it does so it is fine. But I can see things being a little problematic due to the heat issues I keep reading about. B52 supposedly sells an upgrade fan that is easy to install. I have just today emailed them about it. This amp cost me 400 dollars AWESOME I actually have the 2 12 combo. I have had Mesa boogies and a ton of amps in the past and have played through alot. And the tone of the b52 matches them all. And other than the issues it is made well ... Has 13 ply birch and good construction. Really similar to a BOOGIE. I would rate this as perfect if some of the small issues werent there ...

Tonerider Rebel 90 Humbucker Replacement P90 Neck pickup - nickel

Great pickup.

I recently got a Phat Cat for a les paul custom and was in love with it. I then thought about trying a Rebel 90 for another guitar. Funny thing is , I accidentally ordered a neck version when I really wanted the bridge. Anyhow... the slightly lower output did not matter, And also the guitar does not have a neck pickup wired up so the reversed coils were not going to matter. Anyhow... .wow this is a great sounding pickup... I say it is right on par with the phat cat but more affordable.. And I think the Alnico 2 gives major mojo, you have alot of touch response.
