Good economical alternative to replacing the entire cap.
Pros: It fit properly and brought an improvement compared to an old seal (that had cracks). It is less expensive than replacing the entire cap with a new (original) one.
Cons: On the inside of the ring, there was some residual material (probably burr left from the injection process), that may affect the quality of the seal at that point of contact.
