  Great bike, I’m sure it was a pain to ship. Unfortunately the box was entirely destroyed by the time it arrived to us. UPS actually contacted us to explain how poorly packaged it was and to explain that they weren’t responsible. The delivery man had my wife stop teaching so she could review the packaging. The item still arrived intact so this wasn’t the end of the world, it did spoil my sons birthday gift as the UPS driver explained what was in the box, but at least the bike wasn’t damaged.

  Sorry the box did not hold up! I ordered a special box, but it seems the rated strength was insufficient (lesson learned for me). I am glad the bike itself remained undamaged. I hope your son is enjoying the bike.
