A First Glance At 1/48 Scale Landing Gear For Testors SR-71 Blackbird
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I haven't opened the package yet -planning is no rush job. But, simply looking at the item strongly indicates a real improvement from the stock issue. To state the plainly obvious, they're metal -ergo, stronger than the plastic originals, not likely to fold under load. They will need some filing and polishing, and where possible adding some additional detailing (I'm considering adding functioning landing lights, cables and hydrolic lines all for the sake of 'beating' someone else's project. It's like a lawn competition, maybe worse than!). What sold me was to compare these after market parts to photos of the actual landing gear. Without these additional details, your project will be a 'representation', not a 'model' that says, 'Wow!'
