Excellent so far
Bought the article to speed up my MacBook Pro. After installation, the machine crashed hard twice, when it apparently couldn't access the drive any more. While this made me worry, it hasn't happened again afterwards. I've been using it (A LOT) for about four weeks now and haven't had any problems since.
The drive is ridiculously fast, most applications open in a fraction of the time they'd need to start from a regular hard drive. Boot time is literally about five seconds. Amazing. There are faster drives out there, but the MacBook Pro (as of December 2010) only supports SATA 3.0, so a faster SSD would be speed-impaired by the bus.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this drive. It added a lot of actual and perceived speed to my laptop.
Mine was refurbished and was about $360.

Great spare part
Very good quality connector. Easy to solder, very solid, fits my 128 perfectly.
