Batteries have a finite life. This phone has a removable/replaceable battery, which is a must IMHO. It has a 3.5 mm phone jack, which is also a must. Plus it has a slot for an SD card, which allows for on-device video and entertainment when flying without the Cloud. Another bonus is that the amount of bloatware is much less than latest phone offerings.
Cons: Samsung and T-Mobile have stopped supplying security updates for this phone, so you need to do it yourself from xda-developer.com.
