Absolutely Perfect!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This pattern is the real deal. If you want an authentic Dorothy dress, don't waste your money on a so-called Dorothy costume. This pattern has all the details of the dress worn by Judy Garland. You may want to use 1 size smaller than you usually wear. Even the careful insertion of the Rick-rack adds to the authenticity. Took me 2 days to complete.it was a labor of love. Not an 'Easy-sew" pattern but Highly recommend.

History in a Cook Book
Book was in perfect condition. Illustrations of the stoves from 1860s, period photos, recipes for cooking and canning were a lot of fun to read. Keep in mind this is a copy of 1925 reprint and the font size and letter shape is sometimes a bit tricky to read but nothing that can't be cured by a pair of WalMart reading glasses. My great-grandmother prepared many of the dishes in the recipe section and I'm looking forward to preparing them with a modern twist. Even if you do not own one of these gorgeous stoves, this book would be a great addition to any cook's kitchen.
