It fixed the problem.
My JBL Eon was distorted after a cable slipped out halfway and blew something. Online advice said the first thing to do is to replace the diaphragm. I watched a youtube instructional video, bought this and a bit driver to open the cabinet, and replaced it. I also bought a soldering gun to repair the damaged cable. I used the JBL Eon for about 3 hours and it sounds like the new diaphragm fixed the problem.

Good product (but dispenser pump didn't work)
Good value compared with Avalon similar product. The dispenser pump didn't seem to work but I reused an extra one that I had. (I usually get it at Whole Foods.)
