It’s corrosion resistant because it’s plastic....
A plastic fantastic. An unremarkable lamp costing nearly £30.
Fiddly to fit, easily broken.
Rear wire seal is very good. Connector block and associated wiring is loose fitting and pops out if your mains wire is too stiff.
Two nuts on front face are very small and fiddly. Drop one and that’s it, easily lost and then lamp is no good. Should put a spare in the box.

Inexpensive cutters
Smaller diameters clog easily. Base metal very soft so deforms with use. Lubrication with water helps slow wear out but doesn’t arrest it.

Tricky to set up, poor performance
iPad hates it. Weak wi fi security protocol.
Sender and one hotspot worked well, the other hotspot wouldn’t connect to the router.
Factory reset on all units, problem cleared but wi fi is SLOOOW, dreadfully SLOOOOW.
Thankfully I retained my BT home hub 2 and set it as a wired repeater. Works excellently, whereas the newer kit is quite pathetic.
Save your money and buy TP link units.
