Some years ago my watch decided new battery every 3 months. Was only a couple of years old and had never gone more than 6 months on a battery. Complained to the jewellers and they said nothing to be done, new movement or replace, new movement will be the same price as a watch. Thieves. So I went somewhere else, bought a new watch. Nearly 15 years later I realised I could switch the movement myself. Found this, the correct one. Fits and works perfectly. Didn't even have to fit a battery, there was a good one in already.

Great for All

I bought a copy from the author, not long after publication, when shw visited our 4 wheel drive club to promote it. Although the book mainly aimed at kids, it gives an interesting picture of the research carried out in the Namib desert in what is now Namibia. The story revolves around the author's Landrover, Leonard, showing his tough times and challenges, and along the way describing mauch of the interesting life of the desert adapted plants, insects and animals. Lovely illustrations, some in colour. Recommended. My kids liked the book so much, they insisted on naming my Landrover Leonard.... What better recommendation?
