"Alive,Alive Oh!"
,To paraphrase 'Sweet Molly Malone' (well they ARE Molluscs!).
I ordered EIGHT of these creatures for my new,small wildlife pond-maybe I didn't need to order so many,after I've read about their propensity to breed!
Anyway,they all arrived next day,very safely packed-so I took them down to my (allotment) Pond.
There were actually TEN of them-mostly brown shelled,but a red shelled specimen and another with a striped grey shell were included.
They got to work straight away on the Algae on the pre-formed pond walls,and are carrying on their business quite happily after about a month.
No sign of offspring_yet!
