Conclusion
When they cry kai is the ending that was lacking in the first installment of the series it gives reason as to why all the characters end up in their grizzly fate and are doomed to going through reoccurring events just to do it all over again in a attempt change fate, with the strong bond of friendship they ever so slightly change past events to prevent a grim dark future for the people of the village. Hid in plots and events change the coarse of action that each character takes that eventually changes even fate itself (given enough tries). This series will draw you in the more episodes you watched leading up to the conclusion however if you have not seen the first part of the series it will leave you a bit confused and lacking in a special bond with each of the characters that appears in kai. Not intended for children as their is gore and adult situations through out the series. A must have in any anime enthusiast collection, also comes in blue ray if preferred...don't let this gem of an anime pass you bye as it is highly sought after especially the first series as it is out of print.
