It is what it is...
I purchased two refurbished units and the charge circuits were faulty on both. On one, the Anderson Power Poles got so hot they melted., read improper or damaged input current regulation. The other attenuates the input current slowly to zero., again improper or damaged input current regulation. My guess the charge input regulators were damaged by previous owners and returned within warranty period. Overlooked or missed by Goal Zero and resold as Refurbished (not). Oh well, the 20amp/240w charge circuit is inadequate for my 24hr needs. The Yeti is GREAT for that emergency lasting no longer than 10hrs and limited to 100wh., or 5hrs at 200wh demand. Otherwise there isn't enough storage., and no amount of it's recharging capability can replace the spent watts without multiple days in the sun for solar or two charge adapters for up to 140wh charge rate.
Don't get me wrong. The compactness, portability and distribution panel with metering is what sold me. I already knew the specs wouldn't deliver 75wh 24/7. So I figured two chained Yeti's, each with a 24v/250w solar panel would. Then realized the charge controllers were faulty. Spent $40 for a good external 30a charge controller, combined the two 250w panels and presto! Need fulfilled.
I wouldn't spend $1,000 for these units., and shouldn't have spent the $899/ea that I did. Unless you want a cute compact limited backup battery source... you can easily homebrew a stronger system for $1,000.

Needed to pull Crank Arm to replace e-bike PAS sensor. This tool did the job flawlessly. Appears to be very well contructed/machined., should last a lifetime.

Everything I hoped for.
Compact and practical. Wanted something small and powerful, this is it.
