Basic Boot with an UGG Label

these are rudimentary boots bought by ugg. you're paying for the name. rubber is surprising hard and non pliable - so will rub on your leg; edges are square; heel area should be bigger; lining is minimal and is underfoot only. the price was tempting... and so i went for it for my wife's birthday. returned. with thanks, KenH

FCR 41 vacuum release throttle plate seal - essential maintenance item

this part is a critical replacement / maintenance item for the FCR41. essential to ensure throttle response and steady idle. great that the part was available as a single item. works perfectly; very good value. the vacuum release seal has a thin rim that gets fibrillated, wavy edges with wear, and then loses exactness when sealing when the throttle is released. this can result in hanging idle and there is improved throttle response when it is new. very simple to replace... take off top of carb... loosen the throttle shaft screw... loosen the needle cover screw and lift out the needle ... then lift out the slide ... examine the seal and notice that the orientation with the seal flaring out ... stretch the new one in place ... reassemble... note: 1 wheel on the slide is loose and you need to be careful when handling the slide and needle etc these delicate parts. put the slide and plate back in without the needle, then insert the needle good luck and ride hard kenh.

Scott Split OTG - great purchase - great value - great venting - good lens - OK strap!

Good, light-weight and very well-vented goggles for glasses-wearers. The lens is a light grey which is not too dark for night use - and is helpful for oncoming headlights. I believe you can swap out the lenses, and certainly you can overlay them with tear-offs. The only detraction: the elastic strap is not designed to hold the goggles onto your helmet after you have taken the lid off. They are fine when riding - even fast. But as you walk with the goggles in the helmet and the strap still around the back, the silicon - rubber is not sticky enough to prevent them falling. They can slip off the helmet and get lost. This is my third or fourth pair of goggles in two years - dropping off my helmet, after riding as I walked with the helmet in hand. This time - I'll add a Velcro fastener or secondary fastener to the strap. Buy! Enjoy. Ride wisely!.
