Deep and engrossing!
Excellent production of the Dickens novel! It draws you in---though you MAY need to see it more than once to keep all the facts and characters straight. (...But that's just Dickens!)

Crazy Brit humor ...Frequently Monty Python-esque, due to its star and creators.
I saw the show when it originally aired on TV, and assume the disc set is good. (I gave it as a Christmas gift and haven't heard otherwise.)

My DVD was for region 2, but I have equipment to handle it. Region 1 is what you usually want for US players, so double-check before you buy!
An early, yet important work in Tati's output! The color version is relatively new on the scene, but long-intended by its creator.
