Nice Pairing
If you're a fan of Grateful Dead related music this is up your alley.
Think of Donna Jean as the singer in
Ratdog and you'll have an idea of what this is like.

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich First, the biggest flaw is the recording date. Most likely 1971 not 1977. With that out of the way, it's a worthy addition to Jack's post-Cream catalog. Nice selection of tunes, very good playing, interesting band on hand. The chance to hear Graham Bond is always a pleasure as is hearing Chris Spedding live.

Even Without Robbie
As a longtime fan of both The Band & Robbie Robertson, I was leery of this effort without him. However, after hearing 2 or 3 tracks on Pandora Radio, I could see that eventhough it doesn't have his touch this is still a very good CD & well worth haveing.
