1950’s Vocal group classics.
Nice collection of pop vocal group recordings of the 50s. Not original r&b cuts but cover versions of some early songs as well as hits by famous male and female groups of the period. Sound quality is excellent.

Pennies From Heaven cd
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I love this CD collection, "Pennies From Heaven", from the original BBC TV production in the late 70s. The songs are a great bit of nostalgia and make wonderful background music for just about any activity. They are all from original records or masters of 1930's British band recordings. I had been searching for this for a number of years since it was long out-of-print. My purchase was the 2-cd version and the quality, although it was a used cd, is excellent. I only wish I could have located the 3-cd package which was also available when it was first introduced. I may keep my eye on eBay for the full collection someday!
