Kato RSC-2 review and conversion to DCC

The Kato RSC-2 is a strong reliable n scale engine. The DCC conversion from DC was tough. The DCC decoder was not making a ground contact with the frame. A shim under the decoder fixed the problem by raising the decoder onto the frame.

Schwinn AD6 is well made & gives great exercise, but seat position is poor.

The Schwinn AD6 is a great workout machine. Works out legs and arms. The build quality is excellent. The only negative for us (husband and wife) is the seat is too far away from the machine arms, sliding us forward and forcing us to sit on the narrow section of the seat. That is very uncomfortable after 5-10 minutes of exercise. Larger people (over 5'10") may find it OK.... I have ordered a new seat but the distance can not be fixed without a welder to reset the post.
