Explains the moves in easy stages.
It explains the moves of the different Pieces and then goes on to detail the important moves to look out for, with extensive step by step moves on a Chess Board.
It finishes by detailing the Ten most famous Chess Games of all times, move by move. These give you an idea of what each player was thinking and the moves which you should be looking out for.
A great book for the beginner and I recommend it.

Very easy to use
I use my library for solving crosswords, anagrams and looking up the meaning of words in the Dictionary.
It is much easier than consulting the large books and you can use it while travelling.

Excellent book. Strongly recommended.
I have read five books on chess but this is by far the best. It starts right from the beginning explaining everything from the layout of the board to the individual moves of each piece.
After explaining the moves of each piece, it then goes on to give exercises and the answers.
It finishes with the moves made by Chess Champions. Following these on a chess board is very enlightening.
