This edition is clear and highly readable. It reproduces the original edition faithfully. A very good purchase.

A PERSONAL VIEW OF DICKENS'S LIFE
A classic in the Dickens milieu. Nice illustrations. Gives a good introduction for any Dickens fan. Wilson is known for his personalized approach, but he's objective enough here.

Would have liked it more if it laid flat when opened. But the book’s condition is suitable otherwise.
