Very dry and wordy.

Original story was intriguing but the way it was written gave away all the info in the first few chapters. Last half of book I really struggled to finish. Found lawyer Clarence Darrow in courtroom trial to be an arrogant grandstander. For such a widely followed trial, writer's spent majority of time on psycho analysts commentary. Long and drawnout needlessly. Sorry.

Good buy!

Never remember hearing or seeing this movie. Matthew McCaunehey was so young! Good story and note of Chris Cooper as sheriff was so understated. Was a real surprise. Dvd in excellent condition. Thanks.
