Everyone should watch this

Luhrmann absolutely nailed this. The film stayed true to the novella, whilst invigorating more senses. The sheer amount of colour and vibrancy is striking. The soundtrack is phenomenal - as a huge fan of the 20s era and its culture, I was expecting to despise the modern approach. It's now my favourite soundtrack of all time. It compliments the theme of the innovation and modernity of the era and is just simply wonderful. The casting is brilliant. DiCaprio absolutely broke my heart as Gatsby. Everything was just so perfect and magical and everyone in the universe should watch this film.
