Good simple starter edge maker
Simple setup. Stones and glue can chip or break. Put in good edge. Look for diamond stone to replace mineral for better edge.

Good price.
It isn't all that clear at full distance but it's not a thousand dollars either. It will teach the fundamentals of long distance photography just by trial and error. It might be better at the gun range as a spotting scope.
