New life for old computer
Caps on old board went bad. New board went in fairly easily. The case does not have a "system" fan, just one for the CPU cooling. "Mother" gets a bit upset about this and requires me to hit "F2" to continue the boot. I'll probably install a fan to make startup a bit smoother. Otherwise, the new board works like the old except me eMachine thinks it's an HP.

It works for me
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I got one of these years ago from Woot and installed it on a Dell laptop with Vista. I still use it, it has served me well. I still use it for scanning pages to convert to pdf. It has more features, but I do not use them. I saw today that although they say they will still provide support for their scanners, they are getting out of the scanning hardware business.
